As per MOU between Shree Saurashtra Medical Charitable Trust Rajkot &
Shivanand Mission Trust Virnagar; Shri Saurashtra Medical Charitable Trust
has developed a Multi Specialty Hospital and Medical Research Center in Rajkot
that caters healthcare services to the lower economy class and poor people at
highly affordable rate on “no profit-no loss” basis.
The Project was planned and now run by the trust at Mavdi Main road, Rajkot in
the existing hospital complex of Shri Shivanand Mission Trust. The premise
belongs to Shri Shivanand Mission Trust and the existing trustees here are
already running Ophthalmology institute.
Salient Features of the Project
• Modern 55 bedded set up of hospital with the full time specialties of Critical care
Medicine, Pulmonology, Orthopedic surgery, and Pediatrics; visiting specialties
of Gynecology, Anesthesia, Neurology, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Non-invasive
cardiology, and ENT; diagnostic facilities of radiology and pathology laboratory
are being provided by affiliated laboratory services

During January 01, 2015 to January 31, 2016; following diagnostic camps were organized by Shree Saurashtra Medical Charitable trust at Shivanand Hospital;
Super specialty Neurosurgery camp conducted by Dr Rajendra Trivedi: attended by 15 patients
Super specialty Urology camp attended by 11 patients
Super specialty plastic surgery camp conducted by Dr Bhaumik Bhayani attended by 22 patients

On February 09, 10, 2016 a Super specialty Neurosurgery camp conducted at Raj neurosurgical hospital and trauma center by Neurosurgeon Dr Trivedi and Dr Atul Goyal from Mumbai; attended by 170 patients
At Masonic lodge hall, Rajkot a super specialty neurology camp was organized on 3rd November 2009 for the benefit of patients of Epilepsy and neurological deficits leading to convulsive disorders. More than 300 patients availed the benefit of the camp.
Regularly all super specialist consultants associated with the trust do free check up and treatment of needy patients in their private clinics plus their hospitals in addition to the diagnostic camps.
