55 Bedded multi specialty and General Hospital set up specially established for poor and needy people who cannot afford specialty healthcare.
The hospital is equipped with a 10 bedded modern ICU with all types of modern equipment; a good operation theatre to perform regular surgeries and male/female wards, special/deluxe rooms and goos OPD services. around 28 specialists and super specialist consultant doctors are affiliated with this hospital to serve the people

Shree Saurashtra Medical Charitable Trust has been established with sole motive of socio medical services to reach the people who are in need of health and medical educational services. Public health activities are also our prime agenda. For this purpose, some senior medical professionals from medical fraternity of Rajkot joined hands to form the trust. Mostly our activities are concentrated towards creation of awareness regarding healthcare among masses.
Our main area of work that has received acceptance from people is, “Health promotional, health educational activities and community outreach programs.”

Diagnostic Camps
May 18, 2017 onwards
We are regularly organising multi specialty diagnostic camps and health check up camps for the community. Patients can avail the benefit of these camps without any charges.
For the people who are interested to take advantage of other systems of medicine, we have recently started a Homeopathy OPD as a part of holistic approach to healthcare.

OUR PLANS:
We wish to provide highly affordable medical treatment to economically backward families & try to extend the medical support at minimum cost to cover a wider spectrum of socially & financially weaker sections of society
Adopt areas inhabited by economically downtrodden & rural people for appropriate medical care
Adopt schools for immunization, awareness and treatment
Organize health awareness, immunization and treatment camps in remote rural areas.
Future plans: Take up PHCs in surrounding areas to offer immunization & treatment to people from weaker sections, street children & other financially disadvantaged people
An extension counter of our healthcare activities will be;
“community outreach programs in the form of Mobile clinics (OPD) in the far flung areas of Rajkot district
Disbursement of regular aid to thalassemia children for their blood transfusion and treatment.
Creation of Blood Donors’ Bank for thalassemia children and other emergency patients.
In true sense, we wish to bring revolution in the field of healthcare in today’s environment
The span of our activities will cover; preventive and curative aspects of healthcare, public health education, Research and Development
In this context we shall also prepare qualified hospital work-force for the benefit of our people

OUR EXPECTATIONS:
IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT
Corpus fund of INR 200 lakhs (2 crores) is required to launch the full-fledged hospital services immediately
Approximate Expense of Rs 45 million (4.5 crores) is required toward:
Construction of New Modular state of the art operation theatres with laminar air flow facility and along with that modern equipment for advanced neurosurgery, kidney surgery and laparoscopic surgery.
Furniture, fixtures, air conditioners
50 good quality Hospital beds and bedside tables
Air conditioning in patient care area
Other Medical equipment

Digital X – ray, CT scan
Ultrasound for Gynecology & Obstetrics examinations, non-invasive cardiology (2 D Echocardiography with Doppler studies)
